Who we are
Magi-Prix was founded in 1998 by Hamid Sleiman, a young immigrant from Lebanon. Passionate and willing to work hard and smart, he has always considered becoming his own boss and having his own business. In 1998, he therefore purchased his first store located in Verdun, on the island of Montreal.
Having started a private family business, Hamid worked diligently to understand the intricacies of the industry. He surrounded himself with qualified and knowledgeable people in the retail sector. In 2016 he acquired the Entrepot en folie stores and in 2020 the acquisition of the Dollar extra plus stores and aims to continue expanding in the years to come.
